The Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette was one of the most striking race cars of its era. Competing in the Fuji Grand Championship Series, Nissan’s KDR30 was part of the Super Silhouette Formula, a racing category known for its outrageous aero kits, flared wheel arches, and extreme performance. The cars were based on production models but engineered to the limits, and the KDR30 quickly became a fan favourite.

Driven by Masahiro Hasemi, the Skyline Super Silhouette cemented itself in motorsport legend thanks to its brutal power, sharp handling, and the now-iconic red and black livery of TOMICA. Its boxy, aggressive design remains one of the most recognisable silhouettes in Japanese racing history and a defining chapter in Nissan’s motorsport heritage.
