Understanding Our Pricing Structure
At ScaleStreetUK, every commission is treated as a collaborative process rather than a one-off transaction. From the moment you make an enquiry, we work closely with you to understand your subject, intent and expectations in full.
Your ideas, references and requirements are reviewed at the initial enquiry stage, allowing scope, timescales and pricing to be clearly defined before work begins.
To begin a commission or discuss a project in detail, please submit an enquiry through the Enquiry Form button below. This allows all relevant information to be captured accurately and ensures your request is reviewed efficiently and professionally.
Note: Completed models are carefully prepared for dispatch and securely packaged to protect them in transit. Shipping costs are calculated separately and confirmed in advance.
For clients within a reasonable distance, personal delivery or collection can be arranged by agreement, particularly for larger or more delicate commissions. Delivery details are confirmed prior to completion.
01. Base Commission Pricing
These prices apply to standard out-of-the-box kit builds with no bespoke alterations. Each model is constructed to a consistent, high standard, with careful attention to assembly, finish and durability. Pricing covers the build service only, the base kit/model is supplied separately.
- 1/72 scale – £80
- 1/48 & 1/24 scale – £100
- 1/32 scale – £120.
02. What’s Included as Standard
All base commissions include:
- Full assembly and clean-up
- Correct paint application and finish appropriate to the subject
- Decals applied and sealed
- Basic weathering where appropriate
- Careful handling, protection and final inspection.
These standards apply regardless of scale.
03. Bespoke Work & Additional Costs
Requests outside a standard build are priced separately and quoted in advance with close consideration to the customers needs. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Photo-etch or resin upgrades
- Advanced weathering or diorama bases
- Non-standard finishes, markings or research-heavy subjects.
All bespoke work is discussed during the initial inquiry with clear scope and pricing agreed before work begins.
